Once your books are in your possession, we are ready to begin the final phase of our self-publishing services: helping to get your book established in the retail marketplace so that it can begin selling!

Our initial steps involve getting your book registered on amazon.com, the worldıs largest on-line bookseller, which enables your book to be available internationally. Next, we register your book with the nationıs largest wholesalers/distributors, which are the companies that contract with retail book chains to purchase the majority of their inventory. To be available through Barnes & Noble, for instance, you must be available through their distributor. We will take care of this critical step for you.

Next, we will draft a press release for your book and work with you to develop a target marketing list of media contacts, retail outlets, professional organizations, reviewers, libraries, and more. The goal here is to generate publicity for your book so that people are aware of it, interested in it, and can then purchase your book wherever they like to shop, whether on-line or at retail bookstores.

Then, for the life of your book, we will handle retail order processing for you. Most booksellers will only order from publishers, not from individual authors, so we will be your representative to the retail marketplace, handling all paperwork and invoicing related to bookstore orders, working with you to ship books to the appropriate locations, and processing payments to you. All proceeds return to the author – Leathers Publishing never keeps a portion of your book sales.

Your book will also be posted onto Leathers Publishingıs website with a link to amazon.com. And, of course, we will always be available to consult, advise, help with reprints, or your next book. Our success lies in the satisfaction of our authors!
